Im thinking of having my next pair of Cleverley's be a shoe in green and the other in red. Dark colors, possibly a monk shoe.

The first time I saw that picture I didn't notice anything funny about it. That tells me it is a pretty sweet trick and definitely something I'd consider as a "10+ pair." I think different colors or leathers would be a little obnoxious, but this is so subtle to me that it works.

This look is only advisable if you find yourself constantly chased around the world by wannabe art school drop out trust fund kids whose blogs depend on you never wearing the same things twice, if you have the wardrobe and disposable time of a former fashion/retail house creative director dismissed under mysterious circumstances, or if you are forced to wear two different shoes because your right shoe is covered in baby batter after you stepped too close to the Tumblr circle jerk being held in your name.

^^
If it wouldn't be totally obnoxious to quote this whole post in my signature, I would. This post is SF at it's finest.

this thread is so ******* dumb, jesus. wooster works in fashion. thus his every day standards are different than, say, a boring mid level office manager who posts pictures on SF of his too tight incotex and poorly fitted $50 chinese MTM shirts. the man is a ******* baller and, and just like the people at pitti everyone in this site flips out about, lives and works in an environment in which his style of dress is not only acceptable, but laudable. as always context dictates appropriateness.

even more importantly he has ******* style. plain and simple. he looks good in his clothing and owns his look. i just finished reading 5 pages in the abomination that is the MC casual thread and I'd rather see someone dressed like him than in the looks in that thread.

ps: the shoes are EG and are awesome.

really? in what sense is it a waste of money? wooster owns a consulting firm and shoes like that gets his face plastered all over blogs, thus driving business to him.
