here are a couple of magnanni's i bought on sale recently. yes, the 1st one are (as some of our brethren here call it) frankensteins [IMG] 1st pair [IMG] same pair [IMG] 2nd pair [IMG] the picture doesn't do justice to the color. these loafers have a very very slight hint of olive color.

Others here will undoubtedly disagree, but I think both pairs are great looking. Where did you get them, and how much did you pay?

I really like the first pair. The lace up version is also very nice; I was trying it on today. As to the price, the ones I saw were $425CDN, but just for reference the store was selling AE at $450CDN. Does any know about the quality of this brand?

to be honest, the quality of the leather is not up to par with santoni, which it is quite obviously trying to copy. but they'll pass off as good casual shoes, like what flame said, imo.

I work at Holt's, and my advice is that AEs and most other better dress shoes in Canada are overpriced. You can get AE's in the states for around 150 USD, which amounts to 200 CDN. (For reference I worked previously in a Saks)
