    Pepe has replied to us.
    We had a few questions:
    1) Will you be willing to do this on the new chisel toe last "park"?
    2) Right now some members want Park, Olfe, and Hiro. Can we still get the group buy discount and get all 3 lasts? Or do we need to choose 2 or less?
    3) If you could list your suede colors that would be helpful. We are currently thinking about copper suede.
    4) If you various suede qualities could you let us know what they are? We would like to have the highest quality suede for this MTO.
    5) What will the pricing be? regular LM? 260EUR + Shipping?
    6) Some folks also are interested in an matching suede belt. Would you be interested in making this?

    REPLIES:
1.- No problem, once the last is confirmed. It will likely be presented next week - 10 days.
2.- I will ask you to narrow it to a maximum of two different lasts. MTO program is meant to produce non stock models, bt groups is to produce a various pairs of the same MTO, if you decide to go with multiple lasts, the group loose its sense. I hope you understand that.
3.- I can offer you reverse calf in the following colors: Dark brown, snuff, noid, copper, navy & black.
4.- Yes, the price will be 260€(21% VAT incl.) + shipping.
5.- At first there is no inconvenience, but, I will have to review the sizes requested first, since the skins are not as big as regular calf, and some sizes might not be possible to be produced.

Here is the second line of questioning:

    1) Is the park last similar to another meermin last? I have heard Park was the same as the olfe with a more square toe, is this true?
    2) For the belt I have 3-4 folks asking for them. This may grow. Ill get sizes for each person. Is their an special way to measure their waists to get belt length?
    3) What will be the additional cost of the belt?
    4) Ill make sure to let belt guys know some of the larger belt sizes may not be possible.
    5) The MTO currently stands at around 9 +/- 2 people.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
As of now it seems like the MTO will basically be:
    1) Leather Soles
    2) Brogued captoe, just like the picture: http://cdn.styleforum.net/d/d4/d43f8168_image.jpeg
    3) Copper Suede (reverse calf - higher quality LM suede)
    4) Peaked Heal Counters
    5) Olfe/Park Lasts (about 7 park's and 2 olfe's)
    6) Adelaide form factor, just like the picture: http://cdn.styleforum.net/d/d4/d43f8168_image.jpeg
    7) Red or purple shoe lining <-- Still deciding
    8) Initials with brass nails on sole
    9) Phrase on window in lining of shoe
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

The whole shoe will looking nearly exactly like:
    http://cdn.styleforum.net/d/d4/d43f8168_image.jpeg

I have started to collect email addresses of the folks in the MTO I have 7 or so out of an total 9 people.

    Ok so belt people

I need you guys to add your belt size to the chart. (probably the # in inches to the center hole of the belt.)

Also know that the suede leather that they get may be too small for your belt blank. If that happens you cannot get the belt. (They may have to refund you after the fact, or something)

    ---
Also if anyone wants to get on for the copper suede belt do so soon.
I would like to give him sizes and stuff for the belt early since its an odd request and he is being nice.

Seems like it is a GO for this MTO! (just wait for the release of Park)
I have an idea having diamond brogue instead of the normal circle brogue, see if you guys think.
Below is for your reference of a pair of G&G having diamond brogue.

My concern with doing something additional like the diamond is that Meermin does have QC issues and the more "unique" things we have, the more chance there is for something to go wrong.

Its a bit hard to see that those are diamonds. But I don't hate that.

BUT I would say lets not ask them to do that since they have the templates made for the circle brouging. Which means less room for error.

Also on suede the fuzziness will make the diamonds look like circles anyway...

ALSO the holes on meermin's version are small so your diamonds will definitly not show at that size. Click to ZOOM in.

Have we decided on the sole edge color btw? Med brown? Dark brown? Natural? I'm for med brown or dark brown just to give a contrast along with med/dark brown laces

All you belt people please add your waist size to the chart.

I have asked Pepe for the pricing for the belt. (I have a feeling it will be the same as normal belt pricing but we shall see.)

This means for us USA folks this would be less (minus VAT i.e around ~207Euro)?

Yes in the us the price is :
    260/1.21+35 EU shipping = 214 EUR + 35 EUR = 239EUR <== Aproximately

By the way you are calculating VAT wrong.
    It is NOT 260*(1 - 0.21)
    It is 260/1.21
