Is that the same copper suede as the very limited edition Oxford? I'm so tempted by them but they make no sense. Those shell boots however......

Yes the same shade. I originally asked for snuff, then it ran out and the color became tobacco, then that ran out and it became snuff again, then it became this and this is supposedly in the same ballpark with tobacco and snuff. Let's see how they really look. Pictures always lie.

Both of the MTO boots are stunning, congratz to all who participated!

Just putting it out there; is anyone interested in either of the two following MTO-boots. I've already checked with Pepe and he is certain they can be made:

    Boot 1:
    Style: Like G&G:s Arran chukka[IMG]
Last: Olfe (or TerrorSquads new chiseled last, Pepe said it was no problem as long as the last is finished for production. Would be awesome[IMG])
    Leather: Dark brown or burgundy
    Lining: doesn't matter to me....[IMG]
    Sole: Double rubber (danite)

    Boot 2:
Style: Balmoral boot with a punched captoe (without speedhooks of course!)
    Last: Olfe
Leather: Dark brown leather and dark brown grained leather on the shaft! Or perhaps the other way around? grained lower and plain leather shaft? Open for both
    Lining: again.....
    Sole: Double rubber (danite)

    Thoughts? [IMG]

^ I'm glad you said calf leather. I'd have fallen for the chukkas immediately, had they been dark brown suede.

Thanks for sharing the pic, balmoral boot with burgundy should just be part of the standard cordovan line up rather than MTO.

They are pretty willing to make a design in another shade without the MTO surcharge after my experience.

That is both good and disappointing to hear and kind of just goes further to the point of the up and down nature as I got quoted the +100 to do the balmoral boot in burgandy cordovan instead of the black that is offered up on the website.

Still waiting for them to make some burgundy loafers. Perhaps I should ask what they can do without the MTO surcharge.

Aww man, the photos look great! I love the light brown, but I'm glad I didn't order it... I have no idea what I'd wear it with! I'm looking forward to my dark brown boot and wearing it often!

Had a question about the top pair of boots; do you notice the wrinkling on the vamp of the boot? Is that normal, or due to a lesser quality leather?
