I already have a pair of suede tassel loafers, so I'd go with brown leather, but those suede ones with leather tassels seems nice.

Hi guys,

Long time lurker here, this topic really helped me out in buying my first pair, but now I might have a problem.
So I'm hoping I could get someone's opinion about my pair I've recently bought, it seems like there's a manufacturing fault. There's a crack running through the upper(?), it goes like a inch down to the left, pointing to my heel, while on the other shoe(no foto) there's also a similar crack, but that one points to the front of the shoe. I'm not really sure if it's oké or a big no-no, should I ask pepe to look at these ?

(same shoe different angles)

I can't see any "cracks" on the upper at all. Do you mean the place on the upper part of the heel? That's just where both ends of the welt, the leather strip which holds the upper and sole together, meets. Nothing wrong at all.

@ J ingevaldsson,
Well I got a little worried because on other shoe, the finishing on the leather strip is alot nicer, barely visible, this one was a bit ''dramatic'' compared to the other one.
But if it's perfectly normal, I'm happy then with the way they are.
(Wished they were a little bit darker like on their site, http://www.meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=2339 )

Thank you for your answer

Of course one could make it more neat, but for the price you pay for Meermin you can't expect things like that to be looking perfect.

Ordered a pair of their dark brown single monk shoes in suede from Meermin a week ago, order is still being processed. I'm a bit worried about the size not being right as I've never ordered from them before. However, I bought a pair of shoes from Carmina a couple months ago and they, at Meermin, assured me that if a UK7 in Carmina fits me well, I should order a size 7 from them as well.

To those of you with shoes from both brands: are they the same sizes and do they both fit well?

I've been stalking this post for a while and from looking at your pics, I decided to put a Group MTO together for a couple of my friends and I. So The problem is I haven't heard back from Pepe since 4/21. I understand that he's probably busy but is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
