Just got back. Still a lot left, though less in what you're after.

Ties extremely picked over, shirts appeared to be hit and miss (I can't wear OTR shirts so don't even bother looking at them) and the knitwear solid.

The strength of the remaining stock is tailored clothing and outwear. If you're in the market for a tuxedo, go.

Are Canali's tuxes "modern" (narrow lapel, short jacket, flat front low rise trouser with skinny leg) or they will still be stylish next season?

Definitely classic. I have a relatively recent one that's unvented, pleated and high rise.

More like depends on the model, Canali offer everything from square shoulder to classics to ultra short "very in now" jacket

That's true. Just based on what I observed at the stores I frequent, they err on the side of classic cuts.

I'm visiting NYC for 4 days starting tomorrow. Staying in Brooklyn and mainly doing touristy stuff with family but would be interested in checking out any good deals on suits and dress shirts.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks

budget or specific brands? I was at C21 last week to check out suits and saw Corneliani for around $600-700 and Canali for $900-1000. Don't recall a large selection of any other higher end suits. They're decent prices, but not compared to some sample sales ($400-600 for Canali)

Price range is $400-600, but could go higher. No specific brands. More like this is a great deal, price wise so let's buy it.
