    that diesel jacket looks good.

the alpha industries jacket was too short for me and very heavy, quality was good but not what i wanted.

Ive never seen the Diesel one in person. I assume its from a previous season though.

The Alpha one is definitely shorter than most standard jackets. I guess I didnt think much of it because it was definitely longer than any of the vintage MA-1 jackets I have ever tried on.

Quote: Bumping this question... Looking for MA-1 recommendations that work for tall slim guys. Traditional Alphas are too round to look good on someone my shape and their "tall" sizes are barely that - 1/2 inch extra on the sleeves, 3/4 inch on the body.

Just noticed Amazon are currently selling smaller sizes of the Alpha MA-1 Reissue (ie. the slim version) in Gun Metal/Green colors for just $28.60. It seems this style has now been discontinued.

you should size down. the shorter sleeves and body length will still look good on you.

Woulda medium(tall) ensure my doubts in the jacket being too short?
Basically i am looking for a slimmer fit but do to the inside padding i understand the jacket will be poofy no matter what i just dont want it to look too poofy

I think the jacket in your photos looks good on you. A little poofy and long in the sleeves but not too bad. Body length is fine.
Going down to medium should give you a perfect fit.

It's a totally different animal and customizable lengths. You can also order it in leather.

    Does the leather cost more?
