No worries. Even with the very best systems, sometimes little things like this happen. It's how one responds to these situations that make the difference. I'm sure all will be resolved satisfactorilly.

That said, I hope nothing wrong happens with my shirt order

hi, everyone. just got my Navy Chambray by Brembana. Numbers are right on. I like fabric very much. Never had chambray so not sure if permanent creases and wrinkles are natural for fabric of this type. I like price and service overall . Paid 60 bucks shipped from India. I guess price went up to 80 USD in past few days! Not sure whats up.... Any way, buttons are nice , but not Borrelli or Barba like. Buttonholes are done so so..., but for such a casual shirt its a minor detail imho. thank you for looking [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I think the shirt looks beautiful. The buttonhole was another finishing issue I mentioned in reply to Pasey25, but these have been corrected now. Thank you for the review.

I've never wanted a chambray shirt, nor anything with a button-down collar, but that looks fantastic.

Received my shirt today. Got the tri-stripe super American looking oxford. Love it. Wasn't even planning on wearing it and couldn't resist. Extremely comfortable. The fabric all around was soft and good looking. Buttons are very nice for the price. While I don't see myself getting a super luxury shirt anytime soon I can say that luxire will be my casual shirt maker. Even recommended them already.

I've waited until we nailed things down to post this review, and now we have, so...

Ordered one shirt from Luxire specifying dimensions from my best-fitting shirt. Website was easy enough to use, but I wish your account stored your measurements and that the confirmation e-mail contained them and special instructions as well. That said, I responded to the confirmation message to ensure that some specific instructions were received. Got a quick response, and then got my shirt in less than a week.

The shirt seemed well made and the fabric had a nice hand. I washed and wore it a couple of times, but felt the collar was too snug. Once I pulled out the tape measure, I confirmed that. I sent it back, and Luxire decided to remake the shirt.

Second shirt arrived promptly and was also well made. Luxire had made a few tweaks to their practices, however, and the cuff fit was off. To be clear, the cuff measurement was correct, but the shape of the cuff led to a different fit. I gave this feedback to Luxire, and they elected to remake the shirt and didn't make me send back the second shirt. They also took advantage of this opportunity to tweak the tie space based on my feedback. The tie space was fine and typical, but not my preference. We had not discussed this element of the shirt, however, so I don't consider it a failing on their part.

The third shirt arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but not as quickly as the other two. I had absolutely no problem with this, and note it only in the interest of documenting my full experience with them. This shirt is again well made, and the fit is good.

Luxire have shown themselves to be very focused on satisfying their customers, responsive, and helpful. As they have acknowledged, they are growing and improving their processes, and that shows.

I intend to order more shirts from them.

It feels like deja vu, but I'm not sure if I actually posted it before - please allow for various leg widths. I prefer a barely- or non-tapered leg (most Armani Collezioni trousers are cut like this and I love them, but they are exorbitantly priced and too often use inferior tech type materials = poly, viscose, etc. [shudder] ). Couple cuts like that with your customer service and usual great fabric selection and I'll be buying a bunch from you.

I say this because some other well known brands and even SF affiliates only offer a single one-cut-fits-all approach. I love their materials and workmanship but find it impossible to wear their goods.

Do you have a rough price point for the pants?

Like our shirts, we would allow full customization for the pants too. Material is being sourced from some of the best mills in the world. Planning to offer excellent choices in 100% wool at different weights, 100% cotton and linen options.

Still working that out. Possibly cotton pants starting at $99 and wool, linen at $199

Wow, I am really, really excited!

Also, I'll vote for cotton/linen blends - I'm in hot/muggy central Florida where such stuff is a blessing!

guys - to find a great construction and detailing benchmark I suggest you grab a pair of Howard Yount pants. If you can get the construction in this league with as good fabrics and great fit I'll be a eager customer

We intend to make them of the quality that Mr. Yount may want to grab a pair :)

We have high regards for the quality that brands like Howard Yount, Panta, Ambrosi among others make. We are studying different traditional and modern styles with a goal of producing pants of the highest quality.

Yes! It will start with your own hand-made pattern and would take a pause to only share your satisfaction.
