    Announcement:
There has been a change to our quality policy from today:

There have been strong debates on our quality policy in events where we have made an error.
Based on feedback received, we will now allow the customer to send back any item with any error made by Luxire to our NJ office instead of sending to India (US/Canada customers). Europe customers can ask for a return shipping label at a nominal cost. From other countries, the item should be shipped to India.

These customers will also not be required to pay for return shipping. We will make the required change and ship the item back to the customer. We pay for shipping.

But, for changes to items made to specification, the customer will need to ship it to India and pay return shipping. We will also levy a small charge for the alteration, based on the changes required.
If there are Luxire errors AND if the customer requires changes to aspects that were made correctly, the customer will need to ship to India and pay return shipping. The changes will be free.

We still think that the older policy was better, but, we think the current one is fair too.

Will look forward to your feedback.

I have the Navy Summer Light Chinos and love them. Not as summery as linen obviously, but I can't imagine cotton pants being much lighter than these. I believe they are the lightest weight cotton pants Luxire offers. I asked Theresa about some other light weight chinos they have and I think she said they're all around 200 grams (whereas these are 160 grams). Really wish they would add more colors in that summer light material as I'd love another pair or two.

I believe this makes much more sense. If we screw up, we pay for the change. If you screw up, you pay for the change. :slayer:

Are you planning to offer shorts soon from the chinos fabrics? I am sure it's possible to place a custom order for shorts, but would be nice if you would offer it by standard.

What I've found useful is to put all the parameters into a spreadsheet in Excel, and keep track of each order as I go along. Allows me to help fine tun them. You could just copy and paste it into the note when you're done.

    Yes.
Yes, in our own facility, made by our own employees. Not outsourced.

The pants screen can be used for ordering shorts as well.

Ok, I am looking for a chambray fabric:
I got swatches for the following:
    Sky Blue Summer Chambray
    Blue Summer Chambray
    Easy-to-Iron Blue Chambray

Tbh, I only find the Easy to Iron one appealing, but I am turned off by Easy to Iron.
    Is there a comparable fabric?
Or is the Easy to Iron not as bad as I make it out to be?

Teger (I hope you read this),

can you provide your collar measurements or your order number?
I want to replicate your collar.

Great, what would the price on shorts be compared to pants?

The same, you just make the inseam shorter.

I've only worn them three or four times but I haven't noticed any exceptional creasing.

But you use less fabric, so it should affect the price a little, 3/4 of the trousers price would be fair.

But the work is minimally less, which is probably the cost driver. Differentiating prices between shorts and pants also leads to extra work, which again leads to higher prices. What about those who wants 11" shorts vs, those who want 5" shorts; same price? $60-$90 for MTM shorts is also ridiculously cheap as we pay the same for crap quality shorts here in Norway.
