yep. mine are waiting for me at home. cant wait!

ive had many pairs of jawnz taken in. keep in mind though, selvedge denim is quite different. it stretches like nobodys bidnass...just depending on make. im a waist 34, and i have a pair of naked famous selvedge that are a size 29. conversely, i have some in size 33 that are too tight. try em on, and remember tighter is preferred due to the stretching.

Spoo - just a suggestion on your ebay auctions... any chance you could space those out 30 sec - 1 minute apart? Like many, I'm trying to juggle a few auctions at a time and unfortunately they all end around the same time. It doesn't give you a chance to rebid higher if you lost the bid in the last second.

Makes me think you could possibly make a little more $$ by spacing them out by a minute or so.

    :thumbs-up:

Nuts, right? About a US 10.5.

Also, taking interest in a pair of gently used Pantas - classic charcoal, faint herringbone, side adjustors, handmade of course. Size 34. Anyone interested?

    Closet Cleaning Tips

As the summer winds down, I always find myself heading into my closet towards the end of the season and re evaluate what I wore most, and not at all this season. Im sure most of you know, but if you have seasonal items that you have not worn once that season, its time to get it out of there. Fall closet cleaning is my favorite season to clean house. First, I look at my summer attire and if theres anything that I haven't worn once this season, I put it in a pile. Then, I look at Fall and see what my favorite pieces were from last fall, and any new purchases Ive made over the summer. The leftovers of what I didn't love from last fall and what Ive not worn from summer get put on a rolling rack and separated from the "good" stuff.

If you are like me, you have a certain "checklist" in your head that you want to tick for your fall stuff - cashmere ties, flannel suits, corduroys, shell cordovan, tweed, etc. So, I take an inventory of whats left and then make a list of the gaps and what needs to be purchased new, or replaced.

What happens then to the pile of discards? Its time to turn it into cash. Now is the perfect time to purge your closet of your spring and fall things to prep for your new purchases. Take a hard look at the pictures on the blogs and the forums that you've been looking at. Now look in your closet. Ask yourself :

    - Does this fit me correctly?
    - Have I worn this at least once in the last 6 months?
    - Is this still my style?
    - Do I need an updated version of this?

Anything that you pull needs to find a new home without second guessing it. Keep in mind that this is also peak eBay season coming just round the corner, so anyone considering sending your discards and closet cleans, I suggest an early start before the holiday rush. We are projecting some wait times come winter with the volume we are anticipating, so go get that too tight suit, too shiny tie, too loud pocket square out of your closet and send them to us!

And just to raise my own tail, have a look at this week's auctions from a seasonal perspective. There is among other things a fantastic cashmere-silk houndstooth sweater vest for some sophisticated layering. Alas, it was too small for my paunch and had to be let loose. Your gain.
