NYR, I wear so much in the way of sleeves and knee stabilizers when I workout, I look like a Tron character. We are, iirc, the same age, and years of martial arts and abuse have made it so my joints are all sort of achy anyway. I do find that fish oil helps, as does compression gear and sleeves, which keep the elbows warm and gives some additional stability (I think). That said, doing consecutive days of triple digits gives me a really stiff neck. I think that you'll find that practice pays off though. Before this started, 50 was difficult. Now, I do at least 4 sets in full sets of 10+, and after a rest day, or the very occasional 2 days of rest, I can crank out the first 7 sets with 10 or more reps, with the first few in sets of up to 15.
