Leon Emanuel Blanck Distortion Leather Jacket
    Size 48

    $2000 $1800 $1500 $1400 SOLD

Asymmetric and unlined leather jacket by LEB from 2015. This is the shorter version with a shorter collar.

The pattern work on the jacket is a piece of art. Consisting of asymmetric pieces of leather of varying shapes and sizes, the jacket was designed by draping the material directly on the human body, letting the seams form naturally where they may. The seams have been sewn together with an overlock stitch with very little seam allowance. They have then been flattened by hand with a hammer.

You can find more info on the process for example here:

Made of 1.4mm Guidi full grain horse leather. As far as I can tell it's the same stuff they use for boots. I personally think this is the best choice of leather for this jacket, as it has the perfect balance of stiffness and draping. For example, the way the collar curves when open is just perfect. The jacket also has two side pockets and two-way gunmetal riri zips.

The jacket has been worn maybe a dozen times, so the initial stiffness is somewhat gone. However it's only going to continue molding to your body. There are no significant signs of wear. Has been kept on a suit hanger.

    Size 48, fits TTS.

It's absolutely impossible to measure this thing accurately, but here are some approximations:

    Shoulder to shoulder: 46 cm / 18"
    Pit to pit: 52 cm / 20.5"
    Back length: 63 cm / 24.75"
    Shoulder to cuff: 67 cm / 26.25"

    Retailed for 2650 €

    Made in Germany.

Comes with the original bag and tags.

Feel free to send reasonable offers. Questions are welcome!
