This show is hilarious. I've seen Jim's stand up a few times and this show does a good job of incorporating that into the show. Obviously the success of Louie has allowed FX to branch out into other comics that aren't necessarily family friendly.

Thumbs up. Really funny.

Just watched the first episode of this. Really funny, completely filthy and not a lot like anything else on tv. I wasn't familiar with Jeffries before but he's funny on the show. DJ Qualls is perfectly cast as the quadrapalegic brother too.

I heard that DJ Quails is a method actor so he actually went out and paralyzed himself for the role.

Loved the episode last night. This show has a very perfect mix of filth and heart.

Last night's episode was ******* hilarious. Perfect take on women who never pay for drinks and then the **** with the TSA. Holy laughballs.

And the Alive/Dead game. I totally play that game every time I get on a plane.

I saw the 1st episode about getting the wheelchair bound guy laid. It was a funny episode. I need to check out the shows that followed. I forgot about that show until reading this thread.

The bulk of the last episode was basically a dramatization of the airplane story he tells on the special that's streaming on Netflix.

and fwiw, you should watch this while you can because its ratings are abysmal and it's never going to have the critical clout of Louie, so I fully expect it to get canceled fairly soon.

Bump, the second season has been humming along nicely. IMHO it is up there with Louie in terms of quality, but less random.

Some of the episodes were truly emotional without being preachy, especially ones with Pete (?) and his daughter.
