    ^that's not too bad, but just imagine how much nicer it would be without ribbing

    it looks fine unzipped but when zipped, the ribbing just causes the midsection to bunch up and create an egg-shape

    That's not exclusive to DRs/biker/perfecto though.

    S2As actually doesn't billow as much since it's cut really slim.

    Def a good look for you Jbravo

    Just copped this Blk Dnm jacket. Fits surprisingly slim. Im usually a shmedium in everything but I took a gamble on this in a Large and it fits great, I should add that I have broad shoulders.

    it is, thing that kinda sucks is i sold my toj and got this so i went from sateen to fabric lining. will be hard to wear when it gets warm and im having trouble wearing it now since it's like 80 degrees in LA :fu:

    how hard would it be to swap the lining to lets say sateen or silk if need be? also the lamb on this isn't as luxe as the toj but it isnt horrible either. I bought it second hand for a good price but these can be had for $875 new. I think i might oil the leather to make it more buttery and add some shine. I'm guessing Obenaufs would do the trick?

    @grizzlybear

    Which TOJ did you sell? i have a blacked out moto and cannot be happier.

    Not sure if swapping lining is something thats done or should be done could really mess up the jacket. No idea about oiling leather...

    I had an MDR but i bought it second hand so it wasnt necessarily my size and it was a little boxy so I gave this a go and i like it. I'd get a black calf suede DR with gold zips in a heartbeat if I had the cash but alas i dont :fu:

    I had an MDR for a sec too and it was decent sizing but the lapels on the front made me feel like i was a character from grease.

    I think you missed to opp to order a TOJ, they are cutting off orders starting 2014. :angry:

    From what I have seen so far there's better quality leathers around such as TOJ. Nevertheless BLK DNM and S2A leathers will certainly last for years. If you like the design and fit is good, go for it. :)

    Like I said before, the quality on the TOJ was much more "luxe". The blk dnm is more run of the mill lamb which is not as soft or supple as the TOJ but if you buy second hand they can be had for ~$500 or less.

    I guess tisci is not versatile enough for original designs any more. Mayybe womenswear is where his talents lie. This is a straight up copy and I think KENZO tried to pull off the same thing last season.

    I've been telling my dude at AS how shit they look, he agrees. Just need to make the designers agree too, which isn't easy. Loads of internal politics.

    Their Shearling would be an instakop if it weren't for those zips.
