I know that Kilgour sends suits from London to get stitched in Shanghai. But is it possible to get the suits in Shanghai? In other words, order, get it stitched and collected in Shanghai? Does Kilgour have a shop or presence of some sort in Shanghai?

Apparently they share premises (unofficially) with the Y William Yu shop, whose tailors do the actual construction. One can receive a fitting there, but I'm not sure if one can place an order there. Anyway I wouldn't do it, because all you'd be receiving then is a glorified Asian suit (nothing wrong with that) instead of benefitting from the excellent Savile Row trained cutters and fitters for the standard prices. The chances of you getting a Kilgour/SR looking and perhaps fitting suit are much less.
