I feel that way in a 44L, but it may just be that I need to get used to them.

normal lapel is 3' and wide is 4? or normal is 3.5?

either way, I'm going to be wearing a 38, so I dont think I can pull off a wide lapel unless I'm wearing a 40+ (itll looking jarring unless the jacket is larger)

I wear a 40R and I'm going to give the wide lapels a go on my next MTO. The standards are just fine but I think the extra .5 inch will look good...agree that this is more challenging when you get below 40R though.

It's an extra 0.75 inches. Standard is 3.5 inches and wide is 4.25 inches. 4.0 inches would be perfect.

My measurements are probably somewhere between a 40L and 42L (originally I tried the 40R trial but I increased almost every measurement on my future MTMs), and I have wide lapels on all my suits and jackets from KW. I think they look great, love the proportions.

I'm not going to let the extra quarter inch stand in my way.

Here's a pic of my 40R with the standard lapels...again, it looks fine but I think an extra 2cm won't mess up proportions at all.

If they are the same as your plain toes bal but with a capped toe, they should be good enough! [IMG]

Ha you beat me to this. I was gonna make a similar joke. I'm actually waiting for KW's Handgrade Brown Caps to come back in my size.

I still like the plain toe better. Maybe because I am predisposed to the wholecut look.

Welp, time to throw my current black captoes on the bay and start saving for these. I have the dark brown captoes, and they are just incredible, can't wait for these.

I love the wholecut look, but I would still buy these as my classic black shoe. High shine just the captoe portion and they will be great looking.

I was thinking the same thing. I got my first black captoe's before I really knew what I was doing and they've got a chiseled toe whose squareness I've come to just not like over time (they're Sutor for Borrelli).

These look great and the bang-for-the-buck quality ratio is off the charts.
