    Hellos,
    Could anyone tell me JL itself shoes tree is worthy?
    I known that G&G shoes are much more expensive, but they provide multiple kind shoes trees contrast to different lasts.

    To me the shoe trees are worth it.

    I believe all recent versions are made to the 7000 last and adjusted to fit all models. A pair of size 9 trees is near perfect fit for 9E7000 Philip II or Warwick. Even if the shoe is wide, a half-size bigger, or made to a different last, these trees are the best fit available.

    JL shoe trees have had changes over the years. These are 4 recent designs shown on a website.

    Among these I recommend the dark brown one located second from the back. The extensions provide more support to the upper and angles to hold the shoe during maintenance. JL currently offers two versions of shoe trees on their website.

    I have pairs of the regular version in size 9 and 10 dedicated for shoe care. They don't stay clean.

    I don't prefer the loafer version, and I would use the regular version for loafers as well.

    I could be wrong but I've only ever gotten the brown trees when i bought a Saint Crepin model. All my other shoes only came with the uncolored trees.

    I think you're right. They also have black trees that come with Calisto and Odessa.

    I think he was talking about the shape of the tree rather than the color

    @coldinboston

    Amazing to see what JL is capable of when when they aren't making clown shoes or $1000 boat shoes.

    Does anyone have a photo that shows an accurate representation of JL's Tobacco suede? Images online show very different shades and colors.

    And does anyone know if the color has warm, reddish cast?

    In natural light it's more of a golden hue than a reddish.

    I always wondered about this I don't know if its done universally. Does the shoe when being made get glued on before they stitch the seams? like the buckles on the double monks or the becketts when its folded.
