I returned mine for the same reason. It looked worse on me. It hanged on me like it was 2 sizes too big. I have wide shoulders and bigger chest so it wouldn't even lay flat on the back.

I like it. Fit is spot on. Has a unique look. It has a lot of stitching detail. You can wear it easily without layering too.

That linen sweater is dope. It reminds me of the Kanye airport sweater.

Alexander Wang basic tees fit and look awesome, up until you wash them. Plan on wearing it to the gym or around the house once you wash them, they completely change shape.

JE tees hold up really well, the ones I've washed I've washed numerous times and the neck just stretches out a little bit.

Wang tees make me look bigger so I usually reach for those on night outs

You won't regret it. It's a really interesting shade of blue, not your "run-of-the-mill" navy.

Would anyone be interested in a dune tech poncho. I like it but not sure if I'm gonna keep it. Size large for retail price.

I dont wanna be "that guy" but i have the midnight rue, midnight villain, & midnight escobars. I like them yes, but they are definitely just navy haha well made for sure! But nothing groundbreaking colorwise.

No worries. Yea, they are nothing groundbreaking, but they aren't quite as dark as most navy clothes. Maybe it's the lighting in my house, but from certain angles they look greyish. As if someone combined royal blue and charcoal to get this shade.

I think it depends on the material and how you dry them as well. I didn't have the same experience as the guy above with my Wang shirts. In fact, they're my favorite shirts I've ever owned and still retain their shape. I wash them cold on a light cycle and then air dry. For me, I find JE tees better for layering because they're slimmer and longer, but much prefer the loose drapey look of Wang when I'm wearing just a t-shirt out.
