Has there been a lot of feminine talk?

Hey guys, I've known John Elliott for quite a while, but I want to slowly get into the brand.

The tees seem pretty pricey at around $70 a piece, any notable sales so that I can grab like 4 of them and not feel too guilty?

No there hasn't been. But no matter the forum the moment someone says "I think this piece is a bit to feminine for my wardrobe/style/physique" you get someone coming out the woodwork to saying how there is nothing wrong with feminine pieces, feminine is great, why are you afraid of your masculinity, etc even tho the op only spoke on his own opinion. Idk why it happens but without fail it does here and on Reddit and ktt.

You probably won't find em at the price you're looking for unless you go through grailed or other resellers, The mainline tees don't seem to go on sale in my experience.

You might get lucky with a few retailers here and there putting mainline tees/hoodies on sale (I've been able to grab a few mercers for ~20-30% off). That being said, if you consider JE tees pricey, you might have to look towards other, cheaper brands. I'd suggest buying one, maybe two tees (one classic crew, one mercer), to try. They're hard not to love.

I don't consider them too pricey for tees (I have some old school Supreme tees and Robert Geller's tees) but I kinda want to buy a bunch of them at once for a just a slight discount - their cuts aren't unique and what makes them stand out is their quality which makes me want to buy them cheaper. But thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye out.

JE = no ragrets. Buy black and grey for now. Wait for end of season promo. And instacop every color and style with the code then.

I hate to be that guy complaining about tags, but why is the new charcoal comix tag so stiff? It's closer to thin cardboard than cloth, it pokes me and I had to cut it off. I hope other garments don't have the same tag going forward. All my other JE pieces have the normal unnoticeable tag.

It's not all new tags, my new pigtail mercer has the normal tags.

Mentioned that earlier in the week. Apparently we shall not complain about God JE and their tags, just gotta suck it up or cut it.

    Very odd tho.

Just the 2nd time I've seen it within the week or so. I don't keep track, sorry. Which is enough times for me to ask the question. Just trying to understand what makes something feminine or if you put it on you look like your trying to dress like a female

Just don't understand the statement really?

I personally would have liked a light strap to fasten it, wrap style.

Open cardigans are awkward to wear for me, happy to pass and save some coin.

Whole trunk exposed so cant wear in cold weather and when layered under a jacket they poke out like jewish hair curls.

White jeans, shirts and shoes are dope imo regardless of what other people think. I just purchased the skittles and I think they're dope.

    White co-mix with skittles

All white looks good. Jeans look very tight though, especially around thighs.
