One of my best friends from high school went to U-M and said the same thing years back after we both had been at school for a bit. I live in Boston and it kind of holds true - just kind of overplayed. I just copped an Arc'Teryx Therme parka for ~ $500 brand new (retails at near $700) and I'm very happy with it. Not a CG fan myself.

Finessed a Blackmeans Stadium Jacket for a price I simply couldn't refuse. Got it in last night, and its by far my favorite JE piece.... this thing is bonkers, can't get over how dope it is.

Best JE piece ever is the pigtail mercer.

haha up there for sure! I get some good wear out of my black and grey. Pigtails without the mercer bottom down the road would be awesome

Yeah I've been hearing they run pretty long, I'm considering picking one up and bringing it to a tailor to get rid of the split hem. Are they warm at all or pretty thin?

^ Thin. The length isn't terrible but the back extends down an extra 1.5" or so. I don't mind it but I could see how some do. The texture and how it drapes is where the piece shines, however. Best JE piece ever, like I said, and perhaps one of my favourite articles of clothing period.

Yeah thin as Bawlin said. I believe @Jbidwal removed the split hem at the bottom but you would have to ask him.

I sized down one and still feel like it's a bit oversized
