    Hi guys,

I have been in a fortunate situation where I haven't had to have any decent pairs of shoes repaired for a number of years due to a good rotation however it finally came to the day where I needed to have the leather sole of a pair of Barkers replaced.

I wanted to know whether the replacement looks correct or not. The only reason I ask is that I was not expecting pins to be hammered into the sole - is this usual? (pins between the two stitch lines).

Please see the below image for reference.

Hopefully this is correct and I can continue to use this cobbler as they are nice and local.
