Most doesn't specify the length or just the same 3ft length.

Would it be easier to just use a USB extender, one that has a male to female connection?

well, you could, you know, ASK them, or some shit.

Otherwise, yes, I don't see why a USB extender wouldn't work just fine.

Alright, this seems to be an issue - has anyone found a good source for cheap lightning cables longer than 3ft? i'm continually drawing blanks.

i'd like to find a single cable solution. being on the road, I try to limit the things that can break to a minimum.

I wish Mophie would hurry up with the cases for the 5. That way I'd only need micro USB cables for travel.

Speaking of which: has anyone found someone that still makes retractable micro USB cables that are round and sturdy as opposed to the ribbon cables that jam up all the time?

I finally took the phone out the box today. Holy shit, this thing is LIGHT. Makes the 4S feel like a brick in comparison.

And still no untethered jailbreak. Tethered either, apparently, unless you have a developer's account?

Exactly how I felt. At first the lightness made feel a bit cheap though but after a few days with it, really doesn't bother me anymore.

Let me know when find a long charger/cable, still can't find one from a reputable seller. I've read/heard that the cheap ones breaks easily because of the stupid chip Apple put in the cable.

I still have no case on my phone from day one, no scuffs.

Oh yeah you people and unlocked phones or whatever. You torture yourselves. Just buy the regular fucking phone already.

    Are you serious?

Well they want to use the same device when they travel, can't fault them for that.

I have some scratches on the back of my phone already, whatever it is made of isn't seem as scratch-proof as the glass (?) back of the 4/4S.

And speaking of the iPhone 4, I was quite surprised that Best Buy still offered to buy it back for $120. I thought the 4S would fetch that much in stores like BB that lowballs you but not the 4. I know I could probably get more on ebay or something but selling to BB is pretty hassle-free and no risk of being scammed and stupid ebay and paypal fees so I might sell it to them.
