Man this is not some cheesy self help bullshit (though I realize I phrased it kind of silly) It is purely a question based out of my interest in the performance of magic tricks, ha. I edited it for cohesion and simplicity.

If the goal is to actually help people then I would work with at risk youths. The power to actually read minds would give me better insight into how to get across to them.

Putting on some stage act is an ego driven endeavor and Im not sure how youre not supposed to make money by actually reading peoples minds but making it look like a douchey parlor trick at the same time.

Pull two random people on stage, stand between, facilitate a conversation by proxy, the two strangers remain silent but you read their thoughts out loud to them (and the crowd) bouncing back and forth as if they are speaking through you. The strangers facial expressions should do much to convince most. To convince the rest just make one of them cry.

    Wear eyeliner, rinse, repeat.

Yes. For instance, I would repeatedly rebut what they said right before they said it. I would also read the minds of other mindreaders and show them up.

You would read the minds of two chicks at the same time? Only to find out they both were thinking "I hope he doesn't stop at our table" .

Why would they have a table? Are they selling girl scout cookies?

Table as in restaurants or bars, where you find grown women. I wasn't thinking of little girls [IMG] Chill out dude, it's only a joke.

I wasn't mad. I was making a joke back. Your sense of humor seems to be broken.

A bit better than yesterday, all day vomiting for
Trying to make sense of the five or six voices inside my head now is tough enough. I don't think I would want to add a bunch of random people to the mix.
