im going to buy some flathead 3001s, in size 33... i used to have thse in 32, they were perfect everywhere but the waist was too tight so it wasn't comfortable

now i think for the 33s i should hem a little off the inseam as the leg opening will be about 8.1" post shrink... being that they are about 36 inch inseam... shrink 2.5 that puts me at 33.5... my normal inseam for dress pants is 30", if i want absolutely no break 29.5"... with bigger denim openings i should try for about what 2 inches past regular inseam?..

so i was thinking getting one inch hemmed off prior to hot soak... which would leave me around a 32.5 inch inseam... this isn't going to bunch up too bad at the bottom - right?

    anyone???

my first reaction was that 2 inches too long for a leg opening that wide

that being said, i would feel more comfortable err'ing too long...

I impulse-bought a pair of Evisu Nakame Minami on deep discount. The denim is raw, but I can't find out anything else about the denim. Will it fade nicely?

It's also my first non-slim jean.

Uh [IMG], all jeans stack depending on inseam.

    You put them on.

(you can push excess fabric to the bottom or wait for the starch to subside and it will naturally 'stack'- it will look gross on jeans with a larger hem though)

    yup.

question should've been, if they stack well or not__ which in that case depends on the leg opening, too. personally i won't stack on these, but they are stackable.

come on i know some of you have jeans with bigger openings you don't have 4 inches of stack on... how much extra inseam do you give yourself? 2 inches? 2.5 inches?

    i'm 5'11__ i take a 32 w/o cuff__ leg opening 7.5 or less=33" and 34" for larger, to cuff/turn up.
