Good luck dudes.

I was right at the center of Sandy last thurs/fri when it was a category 2 over the bahamas. I had a blast! The house I was in was on the beach facing the atlantic ocean but it was built to withstand hurricanes so it was fine. That didn't stop the wife from freaking out though... I'd always wanted to see a hurrican up close thoguh...

Seems like it'll be more of a PITA for the NE because people there just aren't prepared for that sort of weather. There was flooding where we were but the electricity was back on within 48 hours and I was able to catch a flight out to make my connection back to canada on Sunday.

Actually ventured out on Sunday. But MOnday and Tuesday nights I tucked in with my two six packs of Heavy Seas SMall Craft Warning (pils) and Winter Storm. Yum! However as I was home alone I didn't do too much damage to them

Living in Williamsburg, almost no after-effects except for down transit - feel really lucky.
