I finished out summer and put in 20 miles yesterday at an 8:15 pace. I felt great the entire time and probably could have shaved about 10 or 15 seconds off of the pace for the entire distance pretty easily. I have about 35 days left to train for the Marine Corps Marathon and am planning another 20 miler in a few weeks. I might use this same route again.

Perfect running weather in Michigan. This morning, through the foggy clouds, 5 miles.

5 miles. 45º in upstate NY on a trail which has an optical illusion which makes it appear that you're running slightly uphill both ways.

A bit over 11 miles for me this morning. It was 40º here in Metro Detroit and my first day breaking out the knit cap for my run in a long long time.

After I left the house I had wished I had the gloves but decided against going back for them. Tomorrow morning is supposed to be back into the 50s so that's a bit better.

Soon I'm going to have to put the doors and roof back on my Jeep!

yes,4 miles in 30:32 (but the last mile hurt!), then into the pool for a few short laps and get ready for work.

I put in just over 11 miles this morning and came across this:

1000

A yarn-bombed stegosaurus just off the trail at a local science center.
