3.5 miles on a treadmill. Interestingly, I find it a lot harder on the treadmill vs. outdoors. I do a similar speed. I wonder if this is a) due to relative boredom, or b) my iPhone GPS is not working correctly. E.g., my typical run is 5 miles outdoors. I feel it, but it's not a terrible stretch for me. 3.5 miles on the treadmill and near the end I was grabbing the bars every once in a while, sweating like a pig, and feeling a little off. Maybe a one off thing.

back on the track for the first time in, what, a month or so? 3 sets of 3 x 300 / 100 rest. I think I left my kick at home this morning, I struggled around the track. But it's done and I'm good for another week.

Personally I can hardly bear to run on the treadmill. For me effort is 110% of what it is outside. I am going to have to hit one up tonight, because the air quality in Chile is like record breakingly bad today. . . . Ran 7.5 this AM
Going to Double and hit weights. I've taken some time off of lifting/core, and need to get back to it!

actually found a gym in Chile that is "Superexcelente"
Ran a short but fast workout

1 k easy + 3 x 1k ks in 3:01 3:00 2:58 & 400 moderate between. Came through the 5k split in like 17:22 or something - I felt fast! Of course the treadmill may have done some of the work :p

I'm down. I'll be around a bunch this summer.

3.3 miles for me today after a leg/core workout in the gym at lunch. Icing the knee now...

Legs were aching from my squats and core work yesterday, was gonna rest, then saw the post on Newtons FB page in my timeline..."Your legs are not going to give out, its just in your head"...so I ran 5.5.

I got in just under 9 miles this morning. When I set off on my run at 5:15 a.m. it was already 74º degrees out. At least it wasn't too humid out.

    Anyone here tri?
Looking forward to finally buy a bike as I've been combining swimming & running for several years now, only the lack of a bike being the reason for not doing triathlon.
