You, the mode (the category with the most members), spend 100-200 dollars on shoes, either less than 50 or between 100 and 200 dollars on shirts, less than 500 dollars on sportjackets, and between 500 and 1000 dollars on suits. You are a thrifty bunch.

I spend 290 dollars for shoes on average, 120 dollars for shirts, between 500 and 1000 for sport jackets, and I am all over the place with my three suits, 1500, 1500, and 2600. The most noticeable space between me and you is the price we spend on suits. I attribute my location (Philadelphia) to this, since we do not have the fabulous discount stores of NYC like Filenes or Century 21.

I wonder how many people conform to the mode's habit in EVERY category?

Why thank you. I think it's perfectly reasonable for style to be affordable, especially considering us college kids.

I definitely spend more than that on most things, but thats is probably becuase of my lack of patience more than anything else because if I want something I usually dont want to wait too long for it so I spend a little extra rather than spending all the time shopping around.

Apparently, I'm average for this forum. I take that as a compliment.
