A relatively warm February in New England. Thanks to @Murlsquirl for the gorgeous tie from Panta!

I'm wearing a tie, so I thought I'd put these here.

And if anyone is counting, I'm in favor of @Anden 's dancing.

Don´t you tap dance in the main conference room at work?

I've tap-danced around many an uncomfortable issue in conference rooms at work, but never quite so literally . . .

@upr_crust
 nice picture! I was there (Sintra palace) in October 2014, on honeymoon! It was getting restored back then, with scaffolding covering most of the exterior walls, unfortunately! Are the renos done now? Have you been to the Castelo dos Mouros, which is right next to it?

Thanks, and yes, the scaffolding around the Sintra Palace is gone. We did all three attractions while there - the Sintra Palace, the Castelo dos Mouros (great views, steep climb, and very strong winds while we were up there), and the Palacio Pena (a candy-colored 19th century re-do of a former monastery, again, on the top of a steep hill, as is all royal real estate in Portugal).

My bad, I'm confused! I meant to say the Palacio Pena (the coloured one on top for the "mountain", higher than the Castelo) was covered in scaffolding, not Sintra's palace (which I visited also)!

Graveyard shift hit me harder than I thought, I should go and get some sleep, now!

First few hours breaking in the new boots. Took a chance on ordering online from Grenson without ever having tried any on. Got a number of compliments this morning. I'd have to say, they are a bit light for gray slacks but I was eager to give them a run. Roomier and rounder toed than any of my Allen Edmonds. I had to don merino wool socks for a proper fit.

I'm glad you brought up the fit issue. No, I haven't had this suit tailored. Part of the problem has been time (I'm a full time professor trying to finish my PhD), and the other problem is access to a competent tailor. I'm close enough to Columbus though so if anyone has anybody they would recommend, I'm all ears. :) I do have an old shoulder injury (AC separation) that slightly affects the fit on my right side. It's very subtle, but I do think it causes a slight dimple in my jackets.

Check out Boris Custom Tailoring on Bethel Road. The only tailor I trust to work on my clothes. I just picked up two Formosas and dropped off 2 more Formosa suits, a pair of Formosa trousers and a pair of Rota flannels, and six Inglese shirts. They're very good there. Price is a bit high and turn around a bit slow but in this case I believe you get what you pay for

According to the weather people, winter is coming (back) to northern California tomorrow. But today, it's Fresco and linen warm, so...
