    Good day sirs,

Firstly, @upr_crust get well soon once more sir

Back to the basics ( excuse poorly tied tie )

Don't know why, but I always find myself running back to this specific suit. Has to be the most worn one in my wardrobe to be honest.

Shugz and Hal Freeman, you aren't making the wait for my fall/winter PoW suit any easier....

@heldentenor haha! I'm sure that your suit will be well worth the wait sir! I actually have a charcoal POW DB undergoing alterations and I can't wait to wear it either for the Winter haha.

Today's adventure in Wall Scouting, film posters with two quotes from reviews, "A transcendentally twisted tale from Hell in beautiful chaos" from Flaunt and "A throbbing slab of fizzled-out drone punk" from the Brooklyn Vegan.

Brooks Brothers herringbone tweed jacket, tie, and belt, L L Bean University stripe OCBD shirt, Thomas Pink pocket square, Polo Ralph Lauren grey flannel trousers, and Allen-Edmonds for Brooks Brothers black Strands.

Piece of a person picture for those who like that sort of thing.

Thanks! They are color No. 8, but they are the darkest example of that color I've seen. They could easily pass for black in poor light. Which is not a bad thing, it's just a thing.

Haven't done this in a while and my style has somewhat changed since I used to be more active on here. I only wear ties a few times a year now so this is a pretty good representation of my current style. My uniform basically consists of a button down shirt (today is LL Bean, but otherwise it's Brooks Brothers) and a pair of LL Bean dress khakis. Also today I'm wearing my beeswax leather Clark's Desert Boots.[IMG]

heldentenor, we're just heightening your anticipation a bit. Think of your future joy. :)

I realize that I forgot to label my post appropriately as a POAP (Part of a person) post. Next time...

@Hal Freeman I would prefer an ever so slightly wider spread shirt collar, so that the points could sit under the lapel of your jacket, but that's a tremendously minor issue. This is an excellent look [IMG]

@ericgereghty I see sir! Thanks for the input! I'll be on the lookout for a more wider spread shirt next time. Thank you!

Depending on budget, give a few of the MTM outlets a look. Proper Cloth and Luxire come very highly regarded, and, depending on your frame, will likely be a relatively wash when you factor in alteration costs of RTW shirts.

You guys are bringing the fashion. @chocsosa, I went to an outdoor birthday party last weekend and I wore a similar look to yours and got lots of nods. Keep it up.

In my opinion hat tie is much better for a wedding than for business.

I kept struggling with utilizing this jacket (plain grey jacket is a sure thing they said [IMG]), but I think it does work pretty good in this fit. However I'm curious to learn your opinions.

That's a really nice fit, but have you considered getting a haircut suitable for adults? I hope you can appreciate the irony of this post coming from a bald guy.

Thanks! As for the haircut, I'm afraid I'm still a child at heart, so it's only right.
