I walked into a store yesterday fully dressed in a suit and the cashier said, "Wow! You're smoking hot!" I was confused because he was a straight dude telling me this. So I looked at him puzzled. Then he proceeded to say, "It must be feel like over 100 degrees in that suit." Then it hit me. The cashier actually said, "Wow! You're probably smoking hot!" [IMG]

A solid shirt would be much better.

Guys, apologies for the self-promotion but I started a thread in Social Life, Food, and Drink that some of you may find interesting. The purpose is to post things that you've acquired from places you've traveled to and to tell the story about the item. Clothing, shoes, and accessories are also acceptable. That part of Styleforum is a bit of a dead zone right now so I thought I would put some more eyes on it here.

    Superb colors.

Those are some super clean pants.

The skin colored socks have got to go.

Don't be nervous. It's better to post and learn than not. I think the shirt collar is too big for you. I'm not a fan of the tie pin. I'd recommend not making the tie bow that much if you do wear one. The tie and jacket both look dated and not in a good way. The stripes on the tie don't go well with the stripes of the shirt. The fit of the jacket is good, but I wish the lapels weren't as wide.

    Feedback appreciated.

    Great suit. Fits you well.

The tie bar really helps with the small collar. Good addition.

That is a great suit, DC. Looks wonderful on you. I know you have square shoulders, but there is a really nice roundness to the shoulders that some of your other pieces lack. I know this has been said before, but I'm still disappointed in your tie knots. Would you humor me and try a double four in hand just once? [IMG]

Outstanding pants. Tell me about them.

Skin colored socks is a no go. I think a navy jacket would have looked better with the olive pants and tie. I like the texture of the jacket.

I don't mind all the patterns so much, but I think the shoulders on this jacket are too wide/padded for you. The fit otherwise is fine, but bad shoulders on a jacket should be a deal breaker.

I agree with you on the socks. Fortunately, these are definitely much darker beige in reality. I could take another picture but that would be silly.

The color on those suede monks are perfect with the blue of the suit!
