Not sure about the shoulders. Hard to tell from pic. I've never had a good experience with Internet MTM.

Love the jacket but it requires no tie. Not even a solid.

    Lovely colour sir!

Perhaps a navy grenadine tie? To match the blue with the shirt? Lovely fit as well.

    Good day gentlemen,

Beautiful weather out today and the Sun was good. Hope you lot like it. Second post. Trousers are actually triple pleated and had my tailor convert the 6x1 button configuration of this DB to a 6x2. I'd say it turned out somewhat well hey. The shirt is a pale pink stripe, but looks oddly white in the photos ( alternatively, I could have just wore a white shirt..). Shoes are burgundy wingtip boots. Accessories are gold.

Kamakura. Yeah, I wasn't sure about the tie. Green suits are surprisingly hard to pair things with.

Really, what's wrong with hem? I think the shoulders look pretty good. It wasn't exactly internet MTM, Aaron helped to fit me in person but yeah, the tailor is overseas.

I like the general idea of this. The vest is higher. I think the suit looks better without it. The shirt has longer collar points which I like. I can't get behind the triple pleated pants or changing a 6/1 to a 6/2. There are plenty of fish in the thrift sea. Try to choose better pieces that have classic details and require less tailoring. I think it's a better long term strategy to have fewer good things than many ok things.

I think the shoulders are fine in fact good. There is a weird puckering near the left armpit though.

Might have been a misread from me. Looked little off from that angle but I guess it's fine. I shouldn't make sleepy, late night comments...

I have one suit from Proper Suit, a made in China MTM, that was problematic and soured me on the process.

If you ever have the inclination to try again, give Kent Wang a try. Many of us have had success with KW because their process is different. If you go to New York Aaron will take measurements and fit you based off of their RTW stock. Aside from that, KW's tailors are excellent. It's not the bargain basement type of stuff you usually see.

    Good day sir,

I see, I was thinking it was better without it as well. That's why I had taken pictures with and without it, Thank you for your input though, I truly do appreciate the constructive feedback. I will keep those things in mind next time I go thrifting. As for the gentlemen who suggested that a waistcoat should not go under a DB. Is it a Faux Paux? I had no idea if the practice of wearing one under a DB is acceptable or not. I personally like wearing waistcoats under DB's though when I can, atleast I can prevent my tie from flapping around without the use of a tie-bar and the added pockets are great.

Likely more of a contrivance than a faux pas.
