I once asked my older son (13) to take picture of me. He asked why. I explained... He said I should "talk to mom", and maybe visit psychiatrist.

My son is also 13. He used to complain when my wife took pictures of me, now he just rolls his eyes and sighs heavily...

Indeed. I take mine on my front porch. Sometimes there are passers-by, or gardeners around. I get some "What on Earth..." looks.

Better not ask me about Santa Claus, then. [IMG]

All the pieces were "thrifted". Sorry for the quality of the photos, it's an Instagram screenshot.

Id take some of the money you saved on the suit and invest it in some tailoring. Looks like too much room in the chest and waist. Shoulders look wide as well.

And personally I'm against that button style on a DB. Much prefer the 4. 2 looks dated and misshapen to my eye.

    Nice collar on the shirt!

Sometimes I get weirded out when my dog sees me take a selfie. Also, I agree with @DerekS , that DB looks very dated. As the old saying goes, the extremes of fashion come with a built in obsolescence.

I beg to differ. I love sack jackets. I'm wearing one today. Many people look good in them. Not just me. [IMG]

Yeah it was my first try with this jacket, it needs obviously some tailoring (already planned). Thanks for the comment !

I have mixed feelings about the square in this context, but everything else is amazing.

Not gonna argue that you look good, but each jacket would look better, I think, with some waist suppression.

There's the "sack" cut, and then there's the "sad sack" cut...

Them's fightin' words, and spoken like a true English expat in the New World (IIRC you're a Limey).

Unstructured, undarted, light as a feather, wears like a cardigan, good enough for JFK, made BB what it is today (??) The list is long.
