I've always preferred a brighter color for my flip flops, UC, but YMMV

I was in two minds which character to reference and went with Ned. Sean Bean is from Sheffield and it's his voice I hear when I hear or speak the phrase "Winter is coming".

    Is it April yet? [IMG]

It is definitely not spring here yet. Tweeds, boots and flannels continue to reign supreme over my wardrobe (which I am fine with by the way).

@DavidLane if you don't mind, what leg opening do you usually go with when ordering trousers from Luxire? I'm still struggling to achieve a balance between bell bottoms and ankle constricting (which makes me look very top-heavy).

    Thank you!

@ShawnBC These are actually a bespoke pair, but I did modify my @luxire order to taper them slightly from what you see here, maybe a 1/4-1/2" or so. I want to say 8 1/2"-9" (17"-18") or so total.

This is something I'm still trying to get used to up here in the north land. We got one 70 degree day and I'm ready to move my flannels and tweeds to the back of the closet. Sure enough, cold weather sticks around for another two months.

You don't get any consistency, its a total crap shoot. I have seen 80's in December and 20's in May. You do get to wear ALL of your wardrobe, which is nice.

@Gerry Nelson what is your shoe care protocol, assuming you do it yourself? You've got those toe boxes shined up something fierce [IMG]

Thanks you very much! Appreciate it.

Thoughts and prayers to anyone from Belgium and to our European friends in general.

Relatively simple today. Grey, blue, brown.

I was under the impression that for sweaters, cardigans had buttons while vests did not.

For instance, a suit vest is technically a waist coat that's called a vest colloquially. And that's acceptable now in parlance as people understand what you're saying.

Believe it or not, but today's outfit was not inspired by @Gerry Nelson 's attire from last week.

@ericgereghty I figured that yellow stripes wouldn't be to a lot of SFers' taste.

@SYCSYC Like this, but would have liked it more if you wore an other tie. This is too monocromatic.
    Blue, brown or rust?

Sure, but that's what I do all the time. Monochromatic was the point here.

Thanks! To start with, I pretty much do what @Crat does here:

Once I have that initial shine, I maintain it by buffing it with an old nylon stocking once in awhile.

FWIW, There are guys in the shoe care thread who do a much higher shine than this.
