The first pic is a bit dark, you can't tell but the shoes are a dark burgundy.

TheoProf, this comment is going to be dismissed as heresy here on SF but you could stand to choose jackets with a higher buttoning point.
    Yeah I said it!

End of day photos indoors. My photo taking issue is that there is no sunlight when I leave for work or when I return home. It is nearly impossible to capture the colors (tie mid to light blue, suit is mid blue) indoors.

Thought I'd jump on the Aussie bandwagon and ride the waves of other stronger entries

I have decided that I absolutely cannot stand the look of peak lapels on a single breasted jacket, either suit or odd jacket.

No offence to you, this is really well put together.

I think that the waist suppression + tapered trousers creates a hip-heavy silhouette here (hourglass figure). This is something I have to work to avoid myself since I'm a hip-heavy guy.

No offence taken at all, sir.

I had my discomfort with the peak lapel-odd jacket look here once I looked at the photos. I have to disclaim that the navy jacket is part of one suit, the grey trousers part of another. The colour grey-navy combination works, and is the only thing that is the saving grace.
