Nah, the lapels of this linen SC are ok. Could definitely be wider but they're at the low end of a reasonable range. And I went back through some of your posts and saw a wider array of lapel sizes than I remembered, probably because you have a couple SB suits that are really narrow and those left an impression - and even some that are wider on your SBs still end up looking small; maybe because you are a taller/broad-shouldered dude? Your DBs are obviously fine, and the forum agrees as one of them got you a 20+ thumb nod.

On the whole, it's the shoulders that appear to be causing the dissonance in your silhouettes. Do you have any jackets with a soft, natural shoulder? Would be curious to see how that looks on you.

What I Wore Yesterday. Didn't take any full-fit shots, but I'm quite pleased with this snap of my new shoes from Tianzi Shanghai.

X-Post (Sorry for interrupting, but I figured here might be a good place to ask also)

    Dear Fellow SFers,

I've been searching on Google but with little results. Where online can I source a forest green wool or cotton/linen fabric to make a CMT sportcoat? Something similar below (photo not mine, thanks Shibumi-Berlin):

    Many thanks in advance

try hfw - there's bound to be something in one of their lines.

Or there are some decent ebay sellers, like Quality English Fabrics, Yorkshire Fabrics Limited, Harrisons (Burley) or Huddersfield Fine Fabrics.

be interstng to see what u come up with. Had a hankering for a solid green textured wool for an SC ever since we had the 'Green jacket' FC.

I'm not anticipating a lot of thumbs for a very quickly thrown together and casual outfit but as I'm so rarely wearing a jacket with which to post fit pics I thought tonight I could at least put up a couple of shots for the sake of participating. The fun part of my night as it relates to SF was that over dinner tonight I explained to my wife that I'll be working a bit extra for a while in the interest of putting together a relatively small but solid wardrobe of suits and jackets that I don't really need, an almost complete indulgence. The deal is that I'll get back to my college weight (she liked that part) before buying tailored clothing and as long as I'm not putting this stuff on the credit cards I can buy whatever I want and she'll be my photographer for WAYWRN. Below is us basically goofing around as practice. Life could be worse. [IMG]

If you use the spolier, you'll get a picture without the hands in the pocket.

Oh nice! I didn't notice the 20+ thumbs up on my DB. Thanks people!
Speaking of which, this DB's shoulders are natural. I own another jacket from SuSu with natural shoulders but it's kind of pink so not something I wear a lot.

Do not often wear red tie, but attending Corpus Christi today it was not such a bad idea, here from Harvie & Hudson.
I think this outfit works both with back and brown shoes, but the brown are best, they are from Allen Edmonds, the black are Shell Cordovan from Carmina.

Celebrating my parents' 30th wedding birthday. Wearing something grey was mandatory for males.
So, grey-brown-blue, in a mixed outfit.
