That's an interesting color combination nii, though it's hard to tell if it's a bullseye or a near miss because I can't get a good read on the suit color. Is it predominantly grey or olive/brown? I think i'd like the color more if it's more grey, as I'm not sure how those primary colors in the tie go with olive/brown. That pattern matching is nice.

A little disheveled after a long day at work. Not sure why one pocket flap is tucked.

I think it looks good, against all odds.

That looks like a lovely fabric, Nii. It looks like the suit flatters your shape, too. Who made it?

(I wish you'd had someone else to take the picture, though, so we could really see the fit.)

It may be a near miss then Baron ... lol. Its a darker olive with a navy and burgundy over check. I figured the blue and yellow of the tie compliment the olive background. I tried to keep the shirt and p/s in the same blue family with really small patterns (unnoticeable from a few feet away).

thanks Manton ... i always flirt with disaster with this suit - because of the fabric.

It's striking and my first impression was that it looked good, and Manton seems to think so too. The color tones and saturation isn't totally clrear in the picture but the whole getup is pretty well put together.

Its really tough to say in the lighting... I do know I love the suit and the colors in it.. just not sure about the tie with it. One of Eds burnt orange ones would have been big with this.

The problem with trying to dress while in the midst of weight loss is that sometimes things are purchased with the expectation of better fit in the future but there's a real desire to wear it now. Anyhow...

Brooks Brothers 346 blazer in 38S
JAB Traveler Shirt
Salvatore Ferragamo tie

The blazer is still too tight.
Blazer sleeves need to be shorter by perhaps a half inch.
The PS is the right fabric but wrong colors.
Trouser length is still a tad long.

Thanks in advance.
