And that would be perfectly true if everything revolved around you and your opinions but, :( ...

But at least it looks like your Xanax kicked in since the earlier posts!

It's so nice to see a few wrinkles and creases as opposed to all the new and shiny that permeates this thread.

    Jacket looks a little baggy.

Maybe have your tailor take it in a bit.

that's a beautiful pic in natural lite up top there.

I was quite concerned about those metal discs growing out the back of your arms, but makes sense now I got my glasses. Very nice play on purples and greens, and that top buttonhole is [IMG]

Thanks! It's good to see you're back again! I'm a little surprised it isn't too matchy, but now that I look back on it, a closed jacket would certainly have helped to break it up.

Great look! What fabric are the trousers?

A fine spring day, new cufflinks, an old tie, and a perfect color match.

That would look a lot better with very light grey trousers and a lighter tie. The light blue jacket is very S/S, while the dark trousers and tie are very F/W.

Get this 15$ Alfred Dunhill sports coat thrift yesterday. Unfortunately the right arm length is an inch longer than the left one and the first two buttons are functional. Otherwise it´s a real nice sports coat.

Funny you mention that, I had out dark brown shoes and put them back in favor of these...like I tell my students, always trust your first instinct. :)

Maybe, but I just got these pants back from tailor, and sent my lighter grey ones in (finally got to my ideal weight). Half my clothes are being altered, so I'm making do. That, and I saw a black tie/blue coat look that I liked so I tried it.

    Well done, Crusty!

What is the weight on the fabric? How late in the season do you think that can be worn?

The fabric weight is very light - it was made to be a spring/summer suit, so it'll be in rotation for a while yet.

Are you pinching the jacket together instead of just buttoning and standing naturally? I've been meaning to ask that.

No, I'm just lightly holding the button "in mid-fasten". Just trying to get a pose together. I was getting a bit fed up with my old "stock" pose (the arms out in a v to the sides), it was making my sleeves look too bunched up. I'm trying to get a more natural pose but without doing the arms-by-the-side robopose. But I'm not pinching the jacket. I'll keep experimenting.

Thanks, yeah I've a good few tattoos at this stage; the sleeve and a few on the other arm, one on my side... doesn't really cause a problem in work as the shirts are long enough to cover the sleeve. Still have to be careful though, you never know what people might think, especially when I go out to meet with clients.
