I just realized the waistcoat is attached to the pants so removing it may not be so easy?

That's what Donald Sterling would say, anyways.

I love your highwire pattern combinations, but for me this one isn't syncing up right. That's a really tough shirt to pair with a patterned tie.

Have you ever posted a full-length shot of this suit? It always looks so splendid in the close-ups.

Firstly, welcome to the thread. You already know I liked your outfit with the grey version of these that you posted in the Luxire thread. I think it's worth cross-posting that look into here too:

For me, the grey works much better with the other colours than the navy does. It creates a drab (but in a good way) colour combination, whereas the navy is too much of a contrast against both shirt and jacket. Swap those pale brown boots into your grey outfit and it is all kinds of awesome.

I think the navy needs a slightly different interpretation. Maybe a different coloured jacket, the pale blue shirt plus a thin bow-tie? Not sure. Would need experimenting. But they would be fun experiments.

By the way, I agree strongly with those saying that your outfits definitely belong in this section of the forum rather than SWD.

That's a really, really, really nice tie. Probably my favourite tie in this thread for quite some time, and the outfit uses it very well indeed. Mind you, I am inordinately fond of teal/navy combinations. I think it would also work with a white shirt, FWIW.

    Casual again today:

Yes, it does work well with a white shirt too. :nodding:

Thanks again for the thumbs yesterday. Here's today. Something's wrong with my editor bar, and I can't see the spoiler function. Sorry. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Zegna Barba Vintage/unknown RLPL Trafalgar Hickey Pantherella Barrie Ltd.

G - a nice look but i think the pants and SC could use a wee bit more contrast. im waiting for gdl to disagree.

I don't think lack of contrast is an issue here. But I cannot approve of the socks choice.
