Look at the width of the checks on the shirt and the distance between the colors on the SC as well. They're quite similar.

Thanks, dood. I grabbed it from Suit Supply when their online outlet opened for what seemed like a minute. VBC 120s for $249! One of my best buys. Jacket doesn't have a single alteration.

I agree with the shoes, they look great. I would love to see AAS in a more sleek pair of boots than the chunky suede ones posted in many of his previous fits.

Is that your Luxire shirt with the Italian spread and 3.5" collar points?

Nope, it's one of my Mazzarelli from NMWA. I did have Luxire replicate this collar on a shirt I got yesterday. It turned out pretty good.

That's a thing? I think it's the coolest part of the whole fit.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I realize it's too matchy-matchy for SF rules, but in this case I felt it worked. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. :)

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated. The suit would normally be way above my budget, but I got a deal that was too good to let pass. It's an Attolini and made from an über-luxurious blend of S180 wool and cashmere. Unbelievably smooth to the touch, it feels softer and thinner than any of my shirts. The downside is that because of its light weight, it doesn't drape that well, so the suit looks a bit messy. But actually I think that's one of its charms. Of course, I don't dare to think about how quickly it'll wear out....
The tie is also a wool and cashmere blend, from an - unknown to me - shop called Maximilian Uomo in Italy. I got it 2nd hand from Ebay for $5.99 [IMG]

know what u mean. I had a suit made in 8oz, and altho it feels lite and wears cool it doesn't so drape well either. Especially the trews.
FYI i think yours looks fine, but I'll stick with > 10 oz/300gpm for everything now. Getting jackets half-lined really helps, as does having the trews slightly loose- even if it means sacrificing sillouhette a little.
Just a thought- If only Minnis would put a bit of cashmere in Fresco. that would be awsm
