look like this guy... just don't act like this guy. agreed the combo looks good... just ironic that it's being worn by a Triple Grade A, massive douche bag.

    I mean.. yeah he's cool.

hahahaha it's so funny you guys brought this up! I was actually trying to go for this look here, http://www.eonline.com/news/229483/is-scott-disick-raising-cane-again

But looking at it again, my tie doesn't match at all. [IMG]

    That Wu tie, Conrad! :slayer:

I used this combo before but with a white shirt. The light blue gives the tie more presence, IMO.

Thanks for yesterday's thumbs, guys. (And the day before.) Just one more needed for elevation to Clagthread glory...

Today's fit is about as CBD as I ever go. Which is not very.

New shoes, older suit - the suit's not been worn in over a year. Figured that it needed an airing.

Subtract the square, and I think this would be a great, relaxed look. Sure, SF isn't fond of dark shirts generally and esp. with dark jackets... and I see why. But here, I think it looks nice. The square is just a bit too much for that kind of relaxed vibe though IMO.

I may/probably have mentioned this before, but you have a generally conservative/traditional style but many of your jackets seem quite short to fit within that style. I appreciate that photo angle plays into the perception of this, but this one really does appear about an inch too short to me. Also, the shirt collar might be a bit big for you, judging by the crossover. You can cheat this a little by cinching ties more loosely for this shirt to compensate.

I htink I remember that fit, and agree that this one looks punchier, in a good way.

Some sunshine has - no doubt fleetingly - returned to foggy Albion:

An unusual - for me - wearing of a tie with a BD collar. I wasn't initially going to wear a tie, then changed my mind. Normally I greatly prefer open-neck BD collars. Still, a couple of times a year I do succumb...

Yo, Claghorn, I think either a red graph check or a cream solid shirt is what the red/brown/tan tie needs, if it's going to work with such a blue jacket.

Me? Yes indeed. I prefer retaining some degree of control over them. Obviously any Tom, Dick or Harry can just save their own copy and re-upload it if they're that interested, so this behaviour isn't entirely logical. But still, having them primarily stored on my own account means that their presence - or not - on this thread to most casual readers is more under my control than it is not. The only time I use SF's upload facility is for images that have nothing to do with me.
