    ---

nice nerdy post, tits. in short, horses for courses and it all depends on your definition of things.

    ---

nice fit, SB. i have a hard time with GP/PoW suits/jackets and ties that have that much going on. it looks great from a distance as most smaller suit pattern GP/PoWs dissolve to solid, but close up i am always unsure. ymmv i guess.

So as long as "casually" is interpreted as meaning "in situations of lower formality than the average for which a specific mode of dress is appropriate" my hypothesis remains on track.

    PB You just outed yourself

Personally, my life outside of work/business is as far from suits as one can get. I'll never be that guy wearing ties/suits on the weekend (and I have more reason to than most!). My leisure time though is geared around family time (hint: don't wear suits when your around babies the dry cleaning bills will skyrocket), keeping fit and generally being in the outdoors (cycling, fly fishing etc etc), so I dress for whatever I'm doing at the time.

    But back to tailored clothing...

Today, green for grenadine. White balance is a bit off suit is a bit lighter navy IRL.

^That comparison has been noted here on SF in the past. My old boss actually did call me "Barney".

A few of you liked the velvet yesterday. I didn't expect it would go over huge. Still, I appreciate the approval. Today [IMG]

You need to work on your packing game or get a better suitcase. I got all that in there and then some.

The button stance is high and it's a 3 button jacket. I rolled the lapels my self. They lapels are very 3D, but I like it.

Another one pattern day, but with more colors. I like the pink shirt here, but I think a blue shirt may have been better.

Thanks, PB. Good to have you posting on here with consistency. I agree on your picked nit, this seems to be a problem for me with a lot of my OCBDs.

    Ah, point taken.

    Nice as usual, HC.

I can't quite put my finger on what troubles me about this fit, as I don't really have a problem with any individual piece. maybe it's that I don't really like squares on my ties? it gives off a bit of a 90's vibe, although this one is certainly better than most.

I know you probably think these are boring, but I think they have been great.

What suspicion is that? Also, my wife just told me I'm 5'9". I trust her opinion on the matter.

I don't think they're boring. There's a beauty in simplicity. I try to sell that to my students on a daily basis. If I had a reason to, I'd be CBD more than 50% of the time.

This is an extremely nice composition. Well done. I'm not crazy about the dots on the socks. I think the dots are superfluous here.
