Good cas fits on those shirts. Don't like droopy socks and pit stains... consider sock garters and Arid Extra Dry?

Thanks. I don't like either of those things myself, but I don't want to switch to an antiperspirant. Those pics were taken after I came back home, and I make a point about not fiddling with the fit for better pictures. I believe that anyone can achieve a good fit adjusting your clothes in front of the mirror, but the real test is how your clothes fit you after several hours of moving. Most of my socks slide down, I'm thinking of switching to OTC socks now. Also, it was particularly hot that day and I did sweat a little, which, unfortunately, shows too well on a dark brown shirt like that.

Spoo is there a particular name for that kind of tie? I've seen a few on this thread recently, some on you, and I suspect it's a cotton tie brought out by the summer but just wondered if there was a descriptive beyond 'solid textured cotton tie'. Nice pic BTW.

Believe that is a Drakes raw silk tie. I have the same one.

Thanks all for your kind words. The PS is a Talbott, Mrs. Spoo's ring (Kevin, cause you asked) is a custom designed (by moi) 40 carat blue topaz, flanked by two .5 ct. VVS2 diamonds, set in 18K WG. The topaz was won at auction, en suite with 5 others, pear shaped and cushion cuts just post recession. Picked them up for a song, and am still trying to figure out what to do with the others. They all vary from 25-60 cts, so I cant make cufflinks, sadly.

As answered, this is a 7cm Drakes. The type of silk is called either raw, slubby, shantung, or tussah. They have a great hand and are awesome for summer.

I always really like your casual get-ups! Colour palette is perfect! (I like how the socks tone everything down. If you went with a better, brighter colour choice it could look Gap advert-y?)

Dude, wow. She totally looks like the girl I fell in love with in school for the first time in my life. Damn, I was one miserable son of a bitch for 2 years that we were in the same class together. Now, she's married and expecting, and still look gorgeous.

Why are you wearing my shirt for boxers today? Just finished watching Milk - great movie, Josh Brolin was the best dressed there.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Wouldn't want to look like I shop at Gap. [IMG]
Is everything OK with you know what? I hope you got it by now!

Lol, no worries (Gap is OK sometimes! [IMG]). No, the terabit of porn you sent me hasn't arrive yet! [IMG] (I'm figuring it may be the shipping/postage company?)

Trust me, you aren't. It's the cheapest DSLR they have.

    Thank you!

I dunno, dude... A contrast-collar french-cuff shirt and fedora, yet the shirt is unbuttoned. That just doesn't look right. Also, what's up with the buttons being right at the end of the suit sleeves? Overall, a rare miss from you in my book.

I agree with you. Thank you for being honest. [IMG] [IMG]

Great fit, but shows how much better dark jeans look with a jacket.

Thanks. Yes, I agree that dark jeans really go well with a bright jacket.

Here's what I wear today. I put on a pocket square again and wear a white shirt. [IMG]
It's really hard to make a center dimple with a half windsor knot. [IMG]

Terrific casual looks, ace. I'm always impressed by how snugly your clothes fit you without looking like they're a size too small. Where can I get that belt you're wearing with the yellow polo shirt?

I know it's half SW&D, but fuck poasting there! I need to get rid of this shirt—it's an inch & 1/2 too large in the neck! (And lol at my A.P.C.s—they were an inch too big to begin with, and stretched out in the crotch and knees, etc. It's so funny how weird these areas look! [IMG]) [IMG] [IMG]

Guys can we crop out the crotch action (regardless of sexual orientation) please? Alex looking good otherwise, they don't look too big if that's what you are implying, though I had the same thing happen with APC's also.
