Shot from a mate's wedding yesterday with the bride and my daughter. Both looking at another camera while I stand there. Wearing the new peach linen blend, white kamakura cutaway collar, henry carter Irish linen ps and Herringbone Sydney suit. Feeling a bit dusty today.

The cashmere tie looks great with the jacket.

Nice pic and as ever, a nice tie. I always like to see people's faces - you don't look anything like I imagined!

What I'm wearing right now, as I prepare for the Chargers to destroy stitches... I mean, the Broncos.

Are you kidding? They are classic NFL wear. I have seen Macy's adds from the 1960s with them.

Also, the spalla fulmine is a bit over the top. Maybe okay for Pitti, but defo not StyFo-approved.

DC - I like your more professional business looks more then these country type looks lately. Maybe this sounds odd, but you are a young man. I think this latest look is for something of an older gentleman. And once again, there is nothing wrong with that, I am just stating that your cleaner business looks suit your body type much better.

I'm not a small guy myself at 6'1 220 lbs, so I try to stay away from bulky items, and layering thick sweaters under thick jackets. Also thick pants like cords make wide legs look even wider.

    Just my 2 cents

    Thanks

New member but I have been lurking on the forum for a year or more and this thread is my favorite of the entire forum. Today I share what I wore on a cool but sunny Sunday morning. Look forward to the feedback. I apologize for the photos I am not very good at self photos. I rarely take them. The first one is taken indoors the last 2 outdoors. The pants are charcoal, sport coat a black and white mini houndstooth the photos might not show their colors accurately.

So glad to be a part of this forum. I have learned so much and look forward to learning more.

Gray on gray is a tough look to pull off. We'd need to see a full shot (with both pants and jacket pictures, true to color) to really figure if it works. From what I can see though, the jacket/pants has the potential to work alright.

The sweater...does not work. I'm not a fan of sweaters with ties or jackets to begin with (tie mucks with the fit of the sweater, especially pullover, and sweater mucks with the fit of the jacket). Outside of that, the color is way too bright for an otherwise sedate fit.

Thanks for your comment, I will try to provide a better photo next time of the jacket and sport coat. I have never put them together before. You mention the color is way too bright so I am assuming you mean the color of the sweater? I have not worn a sweater with a sport coat and tie other than a cardigan prior to this. Wanted to try the pairing together and I appreciate the feedback.

Another photo included minus the tie I hope this gives a better idea of the color of the pants paired with the sport coat.

In spite of the score--Nebraska 17; Michigan 13--I'm trying to keep faith on a Sunday morning.
