My favourite of the weekend looks, definitely.

Tough Monday to dress for: hot & sunny in the AM, hot, humid & overcast right now, with looming rain/thunderstorms in the late PM. Opted for light linen to cope with the heat/humidity, but there's a brolly in the car... ah, the excitement of an English Summer... [IMG]

You guys think too much of me! Stafford by JC Penney. [IMG] One of the first ties I ever bought, and surprisingly wearable. I still love it. Classic design and has held up really, really well. Doesn't look too shiny-cheap and ties a decent knot. Too bad Stafford ties are ridiculously expensive for the quality, like $20-30 hahaha... Ah how ignorant I used to be. [IMG] It wouldn't be my cheapest tie if I counted thrifts but that's cheating.

Thank you. I like purple, probably to a degree greater than many who post here. For today's fit, it seemed to work adding purple to purple - the socks were my tribute to Spoo, who is missing in action this week due to him being on vacation.

purple is a great color. i have about 5 or 6 purple ties and 4 pairs of purple sock.

oh yeah and spoo hope ur havin fun luzar!

Bad photo Monday. Giving a quick talk to the local business association this evening, hence the memorable red Pee Wee Herman tie.

Really like this one, that tie is working great with the suit.

Wow. Your fit and outfit combo is fantastic. I applaud you, especially with this being only your second post.

Thank you! Looking at your own post I think we kinda share love for same type of fits and colours.

This is friggin awesome! Details on the tie please.

I think it's time. It's a size or two too short in every dimension, and distracts from an otherwise well thought out look.

Thank you. You are of course quite right about the size, I think this blazer will go into my online shop.

I don't think it looks Pee Wee at all. I love the bow tie in this combination. Personally I would probably have gone with a plain white PS, but I don't see much wrong here (except, as someone pointed out, the missing cuff).

Orge - That looks very dapper. I dig it.

Do try on shirts count as what I'm wearing right now?

Appealing color combination--just right for summer. The colorful pocket square, of which we have just a slight glimpse, adds the perfect touch.

    Thank you, gents![IMG]

Lol @ the guy taking your picture! [IMG] I don't know if it is, but your (beard) neck-line looks too high? I don't know, I have a funny thing about neck-lines. I feel you should shave along the line your neck-fat creates when you squish your chin to your neck! [IMG] I think khaki green, and blue stripes is always a good look (to stay on topic)!

Haven't posted anything in a long time since my fairly disastrous start. I've lurked a lot, thrifted a bunch and tried to refine my style.

    Here's today, summer casual.

I need some more trousers other than jeans, but I feel pretty safe wearing them since that's what everyone wears to work. Picked up some Mabitex from B&S, but they're way too slim for me.
