Day 6 of my nightshift contest. Today DB suit from Ermenegildo Zegna. I´m very satisfied with the pictures from the new cam.

IsteRed, jacket and pants look very good. dont love the shirt and shoe tho, sorry. throw on a blue/white OCBD and some suede kicks or trickets type boots, and that would be a great looking casual fit imo.

The medium blue of the pants doesn't work with the indigo (?) of the jacket. Dark denim or khakis would have been a better choice.

Thanks guys, yep those are camo double monks, honestly i haven't figured out how to wear them though :)

Btw i've bought six new suits, a tuxedo and a morning coat (no idea where to i'm going to wear it though), but all of them are at my tailor at the moment, so expect a lot of new posts in a month. Also I will order septieme largeur double monks with custom green/emerald patina in a few days, anyone can comment on quality?

Hi guise, was going to post one of these in the Challenge but missed tje deadline. Any thoughts on which tie looks better with the choc Fresco and pink windowpane- the plum grenadine or the black linen. . ?

I like the plum grenadine. Who makes it?

Pliny, problem here is the colour correction - or lack thereof - in your shots.

I can't see any pink in the shirt, and the horizontal checks look blue in the first shot, green in the second.

However, my best guess is that both ties work well in this context, so I guess it depends on your mood as to which one you rock on the day.

Cheers. I've added a shot with a decent camera instead of the Samsung Galaxy's. Should be better. And yes i guess they both work althp i'm liking black on pink. 80's sprezz

Same tie? Looks completely different. Anyway, that tie nails the fit. No question.

A fitting postponed to tuesday, but not all to waste, as I got a bit more of insight into a coat construction.

I don't generally post much, but I think this is very important.

I have fairly unusual proportions that require a lot of tailoring (at least to get things to look the way I want.) My tailor is valuable to me not just because he's a good at his job, but because he also tells me when something is possible but won't look good.

luv2breformed, whatever your tailor charged you for the alterations to those pants, he basically stole from you.
