    Please burn the lunchbox. [IMG]

On a less snarky note, heavily branded pieces--as in, the brand was made deliberately obvious--are not well received here. Tacky and gauche. If you are really set on owning LV briefcases, might I suggest something along the lines of:

Mr, that lunchbox is born for hating on. [IMG]

Heavily branded items like that scream "hey, look what I can afford" and suggest that the owner purchased it for that purpose rather than for reasons related to aesthetic or quality. That may not be the case with you, but that's the vibe it gives off.

If the goal is to look expensive--and there isn't anything wrong with that as a goal--I'd posit that the most elegant form of that goal would be: look expensive while also appearing not to care how expensive one looks.

Edit: props for being a good sport about it

I have not posted on this forum in a while. This is my own contribution. Although, I don't know what the photo limit is on this forum. Sorry for the copious pictures. I took different poses as each pose will help bring out the best of my outfit. Feel free to pinpoint anything in the photo that needs amendment. :)

While obviously not in keeping with the general consensus of SF taste, this is aesthetically coherent and well-executed from a certain point of view. In other words, "tacky/gauche" as it might be, I find it less offensive than a lot of the misguided attempts at aping "classic" dress that get a free pass here.

From yesterday. Please excuse the blurriness, but the camera had trouble focusing on the "mirror" (a shop window).

I tried Islays Laphraig 10 years just now per someone's suggestion here. Gotta say, I am done with Johnnie Walkers. No pix today.

That was my suggestion, glad you've seen the light. Try Lagavulin 16 next.
