Pingson - this is bada$$ (I believe this is a technical tailoring term?). Throw in a classic foulard or madder tie and it would be just too good to publish for free :D

Great job, Pingson. That's a pretty strong argument for the flannel three piece.

+1 Possibly the most consistently tasteful poster in this thread, and definitely in my top three favourites, possibly top one.

Flannel three piece requires and accepts no argument. Ordering some flannel right now...(really)

Maybe a touch, yes...had it made so a sweater could be worn underneath. Good eye!

My pocket square matches my tie and I'm wearing red socks. [IMG]

Funky breast pocket, SB. Is this one for the challenge, or does it just LOOK brown on my monitor?

CLAGS warned me about how red this tie is and now I think I am seeing it. What are your thoughts, gentlemen. I really thut it was going to be a tad bit darker. Did I botch it yet again?

The tie doesn't bother me as much as the gorge on that jacket.

    Hey,
Are you referring to the pocket square? I screwed up with a silk and it got bunched up in there. Or the fit of the jacket? Thx!

Neither, really. The styling I suppose. It could perhaps be the angle of the photo, but the gorge, that is, the space between the collar and where the lapels meet, looks very low. It almost seems as is the button sits right at navel level.

Interesting observation. I wonder if it because it is a RLBL. They are known to be a bit different. I shouldve tried it with another jacket. Okay, back to my question, is this tie...acceptable with a white shirt or pale blue and a darker navy blue? I will do it tomorrow. Lets see how many people run from me.
