Thanks for all the thumbs over the last few days, I really appreciate it. :embar:

We have very rapidly transitioned into autumn here, it's been freezing cold the last few days (highs of about 5C), so the tweeds and flannels are getting heavy use. I'm not complaining..... :)

I feel like I was raped and pillaged for yesterday's WAYWRN so I toned it down today. [IMG]

DC, you're looking sharper day by day. And I am so freaking glad that you changed your background! Das ist wunderbar! Nitpicking here...pants seem to be "hanging" at the bottom. Is that something that can be fixed?

Looking fresh, SB. Would that be a barleycorn tweed jacket?

    Pingson, fabo!

Don, I don't care for that tie with this, but for the most part, looks good!

I really want to like this, but there is something wonky with the jacket. The jacket looks to have a really high buttoning point and that is not doing you any favours - could be that the camera angle magnifies this effect though. In any case I'm not too fond of the belt/trouser waist/tie showing through the quarters (although some apparently thinks it's OK - sorry Derek!).

That is a problem magnified by height and somewhat low-waisted trousers (HY italy) another inch of rise would probably fix this. This was a definite upward angle on the camera so that isn't helping.

Pretty much all RTW in my price range seems to have somewhat high buttoning points.

Yes, that is a rather unfortunate trend right now....

Don, given the choice I'd go with blue. But I still think I'd want something more navy.

This is a Hart Schaffner Marx sportcoat, so maybe we can all ask Jefferyd to design them with a slightly lower buttoning point.

Consider this a cry for help.

First one, definitely. However, I would prefer something in a more muted blue tone.

Decided to give SuitSupply a try. It's still in the mid 70s here, so I dont feel bad wearing a linen/cotton jacket in the fall.

HF, I love how you deploy that jacket. Every time. Thanks again for all the positive feedback yesterday.. Here's today's effort. [IMG]

No tags and secondhand, but quality and construction put it on par with the Attolini and Kiton I have, so I suspect it's something nice. Borrelli Bizzoocchi Trafalgar Pantherella Martegani
