Apologies, I haven't been able to post much this last week. I was preoccupied (With a new girlfriend, cheers!). So I will just post the last week or so of fits I felt comfortable enough to share. All of my old clothing no longer fits, so I am making so pretty wholesale changes throughout the fall and winter. Sorry for the angles, best I can ekk out with the new full time job.

That suit is fabulous, as is the tie (of course!). I would have gone with a plain pale blue shirt, and there's something about the colour of the shoes that doesn't quite work with the colour of the suit IMHO - can't quite put my finger on it.

Having had a late dinner out yesterday evening with a visiting relation, today's attire was chosen very quickly last night, under the ebbing influence of a decent albarino, so apologies if the overall effect is not to your liking.

    Suit - BBGF Regent
    Shirt & cufflinks - BB
    Tie - Charvet
    Shoes - Finsbury, Paris

I think it's that they are the most colourful part of the ensemble overall. Lovely as the tie is, it's muted even with the strong pattern. If it had been navy or burgundy it would have balanced the "pop" of those sharp shoes a bit. A brighter PS might pull the same trick. But it's nit-picking maybe, I really like this.

Nice to see you back, and at your autumnal best. That's a lovely suit, lovely fit, lovely shoes too. And belated congratulations on your lovely baby.

Well, quite - it looks very good. But Rob has consistently higher standards than most, so it's worth being picky. ;)

I don't think you people are quite understanding what I was saying. My point was that every brand seems to fit ME badly in it's own unique way. That is not an opinion. That is true.

new tie toosday...my second Conrad Wu tie...this is in a greyish/lightblueish melange wool. I love the texture it has...lots of character. Definitely not the last of the Conrad Wu ties ill be sporting....this fella is making some fuckin awesome ties. I was going to try the patented sugarbutch under the tie seatbelt pose....but i like to live dangerously and drive a heavy machine at high rates of speed with no belt restraints.

theres a place here in nashville that used to do bespoke selvedge denim...really cool stuff. Now they got so busy they just sell a few different fits but they can have them altered by the same people who make them. ive been wanting to give that a shot sometime.

I wouldn't be against it. The problem for me is that you can never seem to find a fitted pair of jeans that doesn't have a low waist. All of the standard waisted jeans I have see have been MC Hammer baggy.

There's Jack/Knife over in CA too... I think Urban Composition got some pairs made by them.
